Four legs good, two legs bad (2016)

“Four legs good, two legs bad” constitutes Snowball’s condensation of the Seven Commandments of Animalism on the need for animal unity in the face of human oppression in Orwell’s Animal Farm.

In the installation, this slogan refers to the body posture suggested to the public in order to listen to a sound composition fixed at 1.20mts – average height of the Homo Habilis, considered as the oldest in the genus Homo. The sound composition is inspired in John Cage’s  4’33” as the epitome of both his idea that any sounds may constitute music and the impossibility of silence.
